MAEJT Nigeria is part of the larger African Movement of Working Children and Youth, a grassroots organization led by children and youth. We empower working children and advocate for their rights, ensuring access to education, healthcare, safety, and justice. Our goal is to protect vulnerable children from exploitation while amplifying their voices to become leaders in their communities.
We provide support in various ways:
- Education: Helping children access schooling or vocational training.
- Advocacy: Giving children a platform to voice their concerns and protect their rights.
- Protection: Offering safety, healthcare, and legal aid to vulnerable children.
- Empowerment: Training children to become advocates for themselves and others in similar situations.
There are many ways to support our work:

We operate in 8 states across Nigeria—Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Delta, Edo, Abuja, Plateau, and Adamawa. MAEJT Nigeria is part of a larger movement that spans 28 African countries.
