MAEJT Nigeria is part of the larger African Movement of Working Children and Youth, a grassroots organization led by children and youth. We empower working children and advocate for their rights, ensuring access to education, healthcare, safety, and justice. Our goal is to protect vulnerable children from exploitation while amplifying their voices to become leaders in their communities.

MAEJT Nigeria supports working children especially those in vulnerable situations by promoting their rights, protection, and participation. We work through community structures, schools, and child-led groups to:

Raise awareness on child rights and child protection.

Provide life skills, safeguarding training, and peer-support platforms.

Facilitate reporting mechanisms for abuse, exploitation, and harmful practices.

Advocate with local authorities, traditional leaders, and partners to strengthen policies and community responses.
